As recent clients of Hughes and Carey Corp. we experienced an extremely productive member of your firm; please allow us to share our story.

We decided to sell our home-We researched possible agencies & conducted interviews. Unsatisfied with the results we acted on a recommendation by a trusted friend and neighbor. We contacted your agent, David Rumney.

From the beginning, David listened carefully to everything we said and then described several ideas for a marketing plan. He clearly indicated to us our "price point", he designed and produced a color brochure of our home, and he began networking with area Human Resource professionals who assist new employees to relocate to the area. The house was sold quickly which accelerated our relocation efforts.

Having had the pleasure of working with David, our expectations of other brokers were raised to similar heights. However, after several disappointing attempts to find an agent (in New Hampshire) with his way of working we once again looked to David for help. He approached this new situation with the same thoroughness and willingness to listen.  He thoroughly researched the area we were interested in and quickly connected us with two agents. Having no success with those agents David located a third agency that ultimately fulfilled all our requirements.

Due to circumstances beyond David's control the closing of our home in Rochester changed three times. David hammered out and tracked each detail, updated us several times daily and when confronted with difficult situations creatively solved each problem in turn.  He always kept a reassuring hand on our shoulders.
